How To: Open Apps With Siri

Apps can sometimes be hard to find. You have to go paging through your pages and checking folders just to find that one app you need. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could open apps just by saying the name of the app? Well, you can!

If you have an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5, keep on reading! (If you have an iPhone 4 or older, sorry, this feature is not available for you.)

All you have to do is hold down the Home Button until Siri is prompted, then simply say “open” + the name of the app. Siri will do the rest!

Personally, I’ve used this feature a lot because I have lots of apps and don’t always remember where certain apps are located. As long as I know the name of the app and I know it is already downloaded, I can quickly get to it just by asking Siri. Isn’t that awesome?

Now go try it for yourself and I’m sure you’ll be utilizing this feature more than you think. 🙂
