How To: Block Someone

January 2, 2014 · by Tom

Everyone has once in their life wanted to block somebody. Whether it’s that one annoying guy or that telemarketer that keeps calling, having the ability to block some people can be very handy.

When you block someone, you will not recieve phone calls, messages (texts), or FaceTime calls from them.

It’s very simple. Go into Settings.

20140102-174139.jpgHere you’ll see settings concerning the actual phone of your iPhone. You’ll also see your phone number (I blurred out mine for obvious reasons).

See Blocked? Let’s go there.

20140102-174110.jpgHere will be the list of phone numbers your iPhone is currently blocking for you. Yours might be empty at the moment but you’ll notice mine has a few numbers already.

To add a new blocked number, let’s touch Add New.

Now, if it’s just a certain phone number you wish to block, you’ll have to add it to your iPhone’s contacts first before blocking.
